Application

Carbide fiber scribe the blade can be reversed, extending the scribe's life by two times. Replacement blades are not offered, though. During scribing, the comfortable, non-slip grip offers fine control. The scribe measures around 5" in length overall. A transparent safety cap is included with each scribe to shield the blade from harm when not in use. Carbide blades are suggested for use with metal-coated fibres since they typically last two to three times longer than ruby or sapphire blades.
